Father Curran pleads guilty to sexually abusing children – now adults – in Downpatrick court today (December 12th, 2011). He will be returned for sentencing on February 2nd, 2012.
One of many leading Roman Catholic Church paedophile priests Fr. Daniel Curran had his book “Where Donard guards” about the town of Newcastle County Down, removed from book shelves after complaints of parishioners when they discovered who the real author was. He had written the book under a pen-name. It turned out to be none other than “the devil’s disciple” and close friend of Fr. Brendan Smyth and Fr. Sean Fortune two more leading Roman Catholic priests, who like himself, raped and abused children for decades.
Fr. Daniel Curran is from Newcastle. He is a former priest of St. Paul’s Parish on the Falls Road in Belfast who terrorized and raped local children there bringing them to his mother’s cottage near Tyrella Co. Down. Tiny children had to endure this sexual abuse for entire weekends at a time.
